e-Invoice License Update Guide
Follow the correct steps to update your Business Registration Number (BRN) and keep your AutoCount e-Invoice license synced without interruption.
Why this update matters
LHDN now expects the latest Business Registration Number to be reflected in your e-Invoice setup before submissions continue.
Starting with MyInvois ensures your company information is correct before the license update is processed.
A timely update helps your team continue issuing e-Invoices without delays or rejected submissions.
Important notes
Update your new BRN in the MyInvois Portal first. This must be done before making any changes in AutoCount.
Upgrade AutoCount Accounting to at least version 2.2.31 Revision 44, or POS Backend to 5.2.17 Revision 39.
This BRN update method allows a maximum of 2 successful attempts, so keep your BRN details accurate.
This method is only available until 31st August 2026.
An internet connection is required to complete this action.
If you have shared your e-Invoice license with your accountant, you will need to reshare the license again after performing this update.
